Turn The Tide Yoga
Acknowledgement, Release, and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of receiving private and/or group yoga sessions, yoga therapy sessions, classes, workshops, and related services (“Sessions”) and/or session passes (“Passes”) from Turn The Tide Yoga, whether provided in the practitioner’s home, in third-party studios or facilities, in private residences, outdoors, or online, the undersigned acknowledges and agrees to the following:
Private Sessions
Schedule Changes
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule all Sessions.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a $50 fee.
No-shows or same-day cancellations will be charged the full session fee.
Essential Oils & Aromatherapy
Essential oils and aromatherapy may be used in the shared space. Please advise the practitioner in advance if you prefer the room to be aired out or if you do not wish diffusers to be used before or during your Session.
Animals in the Home
I acknowledge that animal dander and hair may be present in the space and understand that this is outside the practitioner’s control.
Passes
Non-Refundable
All Passes are non-refundable.
Inappropriate Behavior
An instructor of Turn The Tide Yoga may cancel a Session at any time due to inappropriate behavior, as reasonably determined by the instructor. In such cases, there shall be no liability, debt, claim, or obligation of any kind against Turn The Tide Yoga or any of its owners, agents, operators, instructors, volunteers, or representatives (collectively, the “Turn The Tide Yoga Group”).
Waiver and Release
Waiver of Right to Sue
I hereby waive, release, and forever discharge the Turn The Tide Yoga Group from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action, whether now known or unknown, arising out of or related to my participation in Sessions or classes, whether in person or online, and regardless of location, format, or method of delivery.
This includes, without limitation, claims for personal injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from negligence, imprudence, lack of skill, error in judgment, or breach of statutory duty of care on the part of the Turn The Tide Yoga Group.
I understand that Sessions may include physical movement, hands-on or verbal instruction, breathwork, and mindfulness practices, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with such activities.
I acknowledge that I am solely responsible for determining my physical fitness to participate and understand that participation may, in some circumstances, result in physical injury.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Turn The Tide Yoga Group from any and all liability, claims, damages, or losses arising from my participation in Sessions, including claims brought by third parties.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Acknowledgement and Waiver shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia. I irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia for any action or proceeding relating to this Acknowledgement and Waiver.
Age of Majority
I confirm that I am 19 years of age or older, or that I am the legal guardian providing consent for the participation of a minor.
Read and Understood
I confirm that I have read and fully understand this Acknowledgement and Waiver and agree that it shall be binding upon me and my heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns.
Acknowledgement
By booking a Session or purchasing a Pass, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms outlined above.
