Supporting Your Body, Mind, and Nervous System Through Yoga Therapy

Yoga Therapy Approach

Hi, I’m Jordan Murdick, a CIAYT Certified Yoga Therapist dedicated to helping you feel supported, balanced, and at ease in your body and daily life.

My approach to yoga therapy is client-centered, trauma-informed, and adaptable to each individual’s physical and emotional needs. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how therapeutic movement, breath regulation, and mindfulness practices can support nervous system balance, body awareness, and overall wellbeing.

Sessions are paced gently and designed to meet clients where they are, particularly for individuals experiencing stress, anxiety, grief, chronic tension, or mobility limitations. Practices may include adaptive yoga movement, chair yoga, breathwork, relaxation techniques, and somatic awareness to help clients reconnect with their bodies in a safe and supportive way.

I place strong emphasis on accessibility, autonomy, and creating an environment where clients feel comfortable exploring movement and self-regulation at their own pace. My goal is to provide practical tools that clients can integrate into daily life to support resilience, emotional balance, and long-term wellbeing.

I welcome collaboration with healthcare providers and community programs to support integrative approaches to health and rehabilitation.

Yoga therapy is a client-centered, evidence-informed practice that adapts yoga tools to support individual health and well-being.
